Lucía Prudencio

Lucía Prudencio is a graduate of the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving “La Esmeralda” in Mexico. Her work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions in Mexico and abroad, with particular prominence in the field of printmaking.

Since 2012, Lucía has become a self-taught specialist in the application of relief printing on textile supports, creating pieces that explore the formality of art and applied arts. The plant forms of the cloud forest in her hometown of Coatepec, Veracruz, have been the main visual inspiration for her work, where drawing and printmaking allow a deep exploration of the diversity of this unique ecosystem.

Today, Lucía lives and works in the heart of the cloud forest, continuing to develop projects that reflect her intimate connection with the surrounding nature.
