ARTISTS / DESIGNERS

ARCHIVO G brings together a curated personal collection of photographs taken over a ten-year period. This exhibition marks both a symbolic and emotional return to Mexico City, as well as the artist’s comeback to the gallery’s program.
The series primarily features urban scenes, landscapes, and architectural structures. Through these subjects, textures, contrasts, and everyday moments reveal a quiet and poetic beauty. The photographs were captured across various locations—including Acapulco, New York, Los Angeles, Cusco, London, Madrid, and Mexico City—reflecting the rich diversity of places and experiences that have shaped her professional journey.
Vizarretea’s aesthetic—contemplative, sensitive, and detail-oriented—focuses on the seemingly simple, revaluing the everyday and giving new meaning to space and time. This personal archive not only documents but also reinterprets the ordinary, offering a visual testimony of how returning home can also be an act of contemplation, healing, and belonging.
